Now we are heading to a point where no place is available to store the same. And that is when authorities started to arrange grants for museums 2023

Manchester Museum

The 130 years old museum has a modern outlook with the past as a base. Proudly, it stands as one of the most humongous university museums in the rest of the UK.  Alfred Warehouse, who was an architect by profession did, design the actual building back in between 1830 to 1905. And it was home to 4.5 million objects from human resources and animal science. 

“Hello future” is the name given to the particular project, and it took £15 million for the people to transform the museum. Because the neo-gothic architectural building was already well furnished, developers had to be careful about the construction work they made. They had to relocate 18,000 objects and reuse many. Among the notable galleries, you will find a hint of co-designing and co-curation, with segregations like groups, artists, charities, writers, etc.

The Istanbul Museum of Modern Art

The place came into existence in 2004 and is the first of its kind, the Museum of Modern Art in Turkey. Its main aim is to collect, store, display, and maintain documents from the past over a wide genre. The list includes design, art, photography, new media, architecture, and cinema.   

Since its launch, the place has organized seven collection exhibitions with the theme of the “transformation and evolution” of Modern Art in Turkey. A chronological order is maintained while exhibiting. So this place provided an easy explanation of the evolution of dynamics in modern art and different geographical locations. The museum at present has been moved to a temporary place in Beyoğlu. It will continue its journey in the same place until the existing place in Karaköy is completed.

Buffalo AKG Art Museum

Undergoing a transformation project, the Buffalo AKG Art Museum plans to reopen on the 25th of May, 2023. The Gilbane Building Company takes over the present-day project. So far, they have completed the steel frame of the Jeffrey E. Gundlach Building and, at present, focus on the interiors and enclosures.

The gallery space is estimated to increase by 30,000 with the new expansion project. Also, the museum will have a sky bridge named “John J Albright Bridge.” This addition will serve as a connection between the Building of Gundlach and the rest of the Wilmers buildings. A whopping amount of $230 million has possibly been invested in the same.

The Museum of Art and Photography

The place’s architectural framework offers a sense of openness and echo functionality. Divided into five different galleries, the place includes an auditorium, art galleries, a learning center, a research library, and a cafe on the terrace.

One of the leading architects of India, Soumitro Ghosh, has taken over the design part. And the same does focus on accessibility over everything else. Apart from the regular visitors, those with a disability can enjoy this place’s aura with ease.

The Museum of Modern Art

Made by the people, the team, the public, and the artists, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Poland, comes fifth in the list. Thomas Phifer & Partners did secret the same. Spread over a massive area of 20,000 sq meters, the construction of the four-story building dates back to 2019.

The plan will include an auditorium, a theatre, educational facilities, a museum store, and a cafe. The makers also come with the thought process of treating art as a communicative channel. And they do plan for the place to help the human race with critical thinking, learning of social responsibility, reality, and important dialogues.

Grand Egyptian Museum

The museum plans to host around 100,000 artifacts, among which 4549 are from the tomb of the great Tutankhamun. Able to welcome about 15000 guests per day, the construction journey of the museum dates back to 2002.

Situated at a distance from the prime Pyramids of Giza and Cairo, the Museum makes it easy for visitors to transport. Among the list of all important artifacts bought to the place, the old statue of Ramses II made it to the building back in 2006. So far, the museum project is anticipated to cost around $1 billion (US).

La Maison Gainsbourg

Since 1906 the American Alliance of Museums has been contributing to aligning museums across the globe. It is the only organization taking care of the museum field, science centers, various art forms, and zoos.
